English‐Azerbaijani Glossary of frequently used terminology

Baku: UN Press, 2008. — 210 p.This English‐Azerbaijani Glossary contains basic terminologies frequently used by the UN System Organizations operating in Azerbaijan.
The Glossary has been assembled in the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Azerbaijan by a team of focal points from the following agencies: International Monetary Fund (IMF), International Labour Organization (ILO), International Organization on Migration (IOM), UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), UN Development Programme (UNDP), UN Department of Public Information (DPI), Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), UN Population Fund (UNFPA), World Food Programme (WFP), World Health Organization (WHO), and World Bank (WB). It also benefited from inputs from programme staff of these agencies.
The terminologies under each UN agency section and their translations were provided by the respective agency.
By special permission, the Glossary includes a separate section listing Development Terms used by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), with an explanation of their meaning.
Meant for the general public, the Glossary will especially benefit translators and interpreters working with the UN System Organizations operating in Azerbaijan.
